Frequently Asked Questions

What if I am over 45 years of age?

New Patients: New patients over the age of 45 are usually seen by Dr. Gray prior to scheduling for a cleaning. During the visit with Dr. Gray, he will inquire about your dental concerns and expectations. He will review your medical history and then discuss the examination process. The comprehensive exam will include evaluating the teeth, gums, temporomandibular joints, supporting bone around the teeth and an oral cancer screening.

When do you take X-rays?

X-rays are only ordered by Dr. Gray after he has assessed what x-rays will help him complete a comprehensive examination and an accurate treatment plan. Photos are often taken to show the patient the dental problem.

How can I make a Plan for Extensive Work to be done?

When there is extensive work that needs done, Dr. Gray will have the patient return to the office to discuss the problems, the options for treatment, and the priority (how soon does the work have to be done).

Do you take Medicaid and CareSource ?

We do not accept Medicaid and CareSource insurances.

After hours emergencies ?

Dr. Gray will treat true dental emergencies after hours and on weekends for established patients.
